Q:
Spartcart: How do I setup my Google Checkout Account

To create a Google Checkout account go to the following URL and follow their instructions:
https://checkout.google.com/sell/

Once you have your account setup and you are logged in...

  1. Click on the "Settings" tab at the top.

  2. Click on the "Preferences" link in the left hand menu.
  3. Select the "Automatically authorise and charge the buyer's card." option.
    You can also tick the box to be informed of orders, cancellations, etc... via email.

  4. Click on the "Integration" link in the left hand menu.
  5. Tick the "My company will only post digitally signed carts." option.
  6. Set the "API callback URL" to the URL that we have provided you.
  7. Set the "Callback contents:" to "Notification as XML"

The last thing to do is email us with the Google merchant ID and Google merchant key that are listed under Account information on the right hand side of the page.
