Q:Is it possible for Sparticle Ltd to take over a website I already have?
Absolutely! Many of our existing clients already had websites before they discovered us. Approximately 40% of the sites we now host were migrated over from other IT companies because they wanted a more personal and professional service.
The migration normally falls into one of two categories:
Migrating a website "as is"
We will migrate your site and email "exactly as it is" onto our servers and provide development & support. Allowing you to benefit from our excellent site and email hosting.
Migrating only the Content
Your site may have great content in the form of words, images, videos etc but the way it is architected may leave a lot to be desired. Poorly architectured websites typically have the following problems:
- They don't rank very well in web searches (like Google)
- They are not cost effective to update
- It is expensive or not possible to add new functionality like blogs/galleries/shopping carts
- They may look good on Internet Explorer but they don't work on the other 40% of browsers being used by your clients.
If the above is true for your existing site then when we take it over we will use all your content, images, logos etc and will put them into a professional, supportable framework allowing you to begin to really get the most of your website. And by re-using your existing content we help you save even more money too!
